Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society

Welcome to the 2016 Electronic Music Marathon!

What started as a college radio class project in 1997 has blossomed into an annual Philly DJ tradition.

Since the event’s inception, the Electronic Music Marathon (EMM) has raised over $25,000 for various Philadelphia area non-profits, partnering with a different organization each year to fundraise and fulfill WKDU’s mission of engaging the local community through non-commercial independent music programming.

This year, we're working with PAWS, the Philadelphia area's largest no-kill animal shelter, to bring you over 85 hours of Philly's best DJs starting at noon on Friday, October 7th.

With early support from Philly community institutions such as Silk City, as well as confirmed appearances from Philly DJ legends such as King Britt, Cosmo Baker, and Rich Medina, we plan to break last year's fundraising record!
